What began years ago as handmade holiday décor and craft-show creations has grown into a collective built around premium supplies, inspiration, education, and community.
The Name Behind Whittick's
The name Whittick’s comes from the combination of our last names — Whitley + Bittick.
It reflects a partnership and friendship that have shaped this journey from the very beginning, and it remains at the heart of everything we build together.
Looking Back to
Where It All Began...
Long before Whittick’s Design Collective existed, there was Whittick’s Wonders.
Back in the late 1990s and early 2000s, we created handmade wooden crafts and holiday décor, selling our work through craft shows, holiday markets, and community events.
What started as a creative outlet quickly became something much bigger — planting the seeds for the business you see today.
Built At Home
Our love for beautiful things did not begin with a business. It began at home.
We were raised by two incredible women who believed that details mattered. Presentation mattered. How something felt was just as important as how it looked.
Holidays were not just holidays — they were experiences. Birthdays were not just celebrations — they were moments.
Every table, every room, every detail was created with intention and pride.
They did not simply decorate. They created atmospheres, feelings and moments.
And without realizing it at the time, they were shaping us.

Creativity has always been at the center of what we do, but our roles have evolved over the years.
In the beginning, Micah brought the analytical side — planning, numbers, structure, and strategy — while Jimmy focused heavily on design, decorating, artistry, and bringing creative ideas to life.
Today, both founders contribute across design, product development, operations, strategy, and the creative direction of the brand.
Whittick’s Design Collective was created to better reflect what the business has become: a multi-faceted creative company built around community, collaboration, education, curation, and connection.
